This album will always be tied to my birthday in Saint-Malo, a trip I took with A., when I found this record in a small local record shop. I asked a worker in the shop to recommend some pioneers of electronic music, and this was the album he proposed. Phaedra feels timeless—hypnotic, eerie, and immersive. It carries a huge Stranger Things vibe, to the point where the series clearly feels inspired by this sonic universe. A deeply personal and essential piece of my collection.
