Vinyls

I started listening to vinyl back in college, when I bought myself a record player that also had a CD player. If I remember right, my first vinyls came from Hrelić — Girlschool’s Emergency, Billy Idol’s Vital Idol, Jean-Michel Jarre’s Équinoxe, and some country album with surprisingly awesome songs. I’m not even sure where those records are now, but since then, I’ve built a new collection from scratch.

What I love about vinyl is that you can’t just skip songs easily — you play a whole side, start to finish. That changed the way I listen to music. I used to just repeat my favorite tracks online, but with vinyl, I take in entire albums. It’s a deeper experience. I hear more. I listen more.
